A different pace of care

Care that listens to the whole body.

At Arise, each visit begins by noticing how your body moves. Together, we look for range-of-motion limitations and movement imbalances, then create space for easier, more supported movement.

The Arise approach

Release, restore, rebuild.

  1. 01

    Understand your movement

A functional movement exam helps reveal restrictions, compensation patterns, and where your body may need support.

  2. 02

    Create room to move

Myofascial work and chiropractic care help reduce tension and joint restrictions, so movement can feel easier.

  3. 03

    Carry it forward

Simple, individualized exercises give you a practical way to build mobility and strength through your full range of motion.

Who I help

Move with less pain. Live with more confidence.

I work with Austinites at every stage of life who want to feel more at home in their bodies.

A place to be

Less fight-or-flight. More presence.

Our space is intentionally calm and unhurried. We begin and end in normal light; during treatment, the room softens into dim red light—an invitation to tune in, breathe, and feel present in your body.

About Dr. Syra

Movement has always been part of the story.

Dr. Syra grew up in Northeast Texas on a little piece of land with horses, sports, and plenty of time spent outdoors. That lifelong relationship with movement led her to study Kinesiology at the University of North Texas, then earn her Doctorate of Chiropractic and Master’s in Neuroscience from Parker University in Dallas. She graduated valedictorian of her doctoral class before moving to Austin.

Since then, she has worked with people in every season of life and movement—from prenatal and postnatal moms navigating pelvic floor dysfunction or diastasis recti, to runners, strength athletes, bodybuilders, HYROX competitors, and people who simply want to move without pain.

She loves to stay active and competes in running and strength events whenever she can, so she understands how meaningful it is to feel confident in your body—whether you’re training for a race, returning to exercise after having a baby, or keeping up with everyday life. Outside the clinic, you can usually find Dr. Syra at a run club, fitness event, or doing some form of functional strength training.
